City Trustees provide bespoke professional trustee services and pension arrangements for
those saving for retirement or already retired.
We provide and administer the scheme 'wrapper', most often a Self Invested
Personal Pension (SIPP) in which a wide range of investments can be held, either to provide
growth before retirement or to provide income after retirement. In providing the
'wrapper' we ensure that HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) regulations and returns
are complied with to enable the scheme to take advantage of various tax concessions. In
addition we:
ensure the smooth running of the scheme
make sure records are properly maintained in line with HMRC requirements
oversee the buying and selling of investments including property
provide annual statements and other records in connection with the scheme
make income payments once in retirement
We also offer the following services to professional advisers and their clients:

Professional Trustee Service – for the schemes we operate we act as a co-trustee
ensuring the HMRC regulations are complied with. In so doing, we ensure we act
prudently and honestly in accordance with the Trust Deed and Rules of the scheme
plus act in the members (and potential beneficiaries) bests interests.

Pensions Consultancy – we are able to offer consultancy on a wide range of pension
related issues whether these be technical, legislative or sales ideas.
